What is SIMTAL?

SIMTAL is a young and exciting insurance broker operating in the EU and EEA.

Which types of insurances does SIMTAL offer?

We presently offer Term life insurance. We will be adding Unit Linked Insurance, Critical Illness and Disability Income insurance to the product line shortly.

Which insurance carriers do SIMTAL work with?

Presently we are working with Squarelife in Liechtenstein. Further carriers will be added to the platform in the coming months.

What makes SIMTAL different?

We make a 100% ditigised and IDD compliant onboarding platform available for our cooperating intermediaries. This allows you as an intermediary to fully concentrate on the onboarding and servicing of your customers.

How do I register on the onboarding platform?

The process is simple, quick, and efficient. After entering your name, telephone number and e-mail address you will be led through the entire process. You will be required to provide certain documentation like a clean criminal record, statement of good standing, fit & proper, and documentation of your insurance licensing. After the details and documents are shared, the SIMTAL team will review your application and an email confirmation will be shared on your registered email ID.

How is personal information protected?

Personal information of brokers and customers are managed through multifactor authentication during their login. We will collect and ensure that the personal data is processed in a manner that is compatible for insurance processing purpose only. Personal data will be disclosed to any third parties only based on the explicit consent provided.

How does SIMTAL manage my portfolio?

Every policy written is registered on the SIMTAL platform. You will have your own mailbox, and a personal dashboard with access to full information of the business you write and manage with SIMTAL.

With interactive and personalized dashboards, you can track your portfolio and sales performance.

Will you assist me in the consulting process with my customer?

SIMTAL provides an intuitive fully IDD compliant and 100% digitised onboarding tool allowing you to provide a smooth and efficient consulting process to your customer. The customer will have his own mailbox and access to his personal dashboard with all relevant information about his insurance coverage.

How long does it take to know if the insurance application has been accepted?

A matter of seconds. Once the consultancy process has been concluded, the application is sent to the carrier and the approval decision is instantaneous. The insurance policy information will be available on the customers dashboard immediately thereafter. This will be followed by policy document issuance.

How is the premium payment process managed?

The customer will authorise the insurance carrier to deduct the payment, either by way of a monthly Direct Debit or to debit the monthly premium from a credit card.

What if I lose my password?

The password can be easily reset using the ‘Forgot your password?” option in the login screen.

What do I do if I have questions?

Our intermediary support team is on call to support you for any questions you may have. You will find the contact detail on our homepage.

How can I terminate the relationship with SIMTAL?

You can terminate your relationship with SIMTAL at any time by sending an email to support@simtal.com. We will delete your account and the associated data after the expiration of the retention periods.
